Planning together

Terms of Use

Effective 27 October 2026

These Terms of Use apply to Kivaro, an Australian wedding-planning platform operated by Kivaro Studios, a sole-trader business based in Western Australia, Australia. Contact studioskivaro@gmail.com with questions.

1. Accounts and permitted use

Provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure and use the service lawfully. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity using your account to the extent permitted by law.

2. Wedding plans and collaborators

You choose what information to add and whom to invite to collaborate. Collaborators may view or edit shared information according to their permissions. Only upload or share content and personal information you are authorised to use, and consider the privacy of guests and other people.

3. Guest invitations and RSVP links

RSVP links are intended for invited recipients. Anyone holding a valid link may be able to access the linked invitation. Share links carefully, and revoke or regenerate them when necessary and supported. Do not access another person's wedding or invitation without permission.

4. Ownership and permission to process content

You retain any rights you hold in the content you create or upload. You grant Kivaro a limited permission to store, process, transmit, reproduce and display that content as reasonably needed to provide the features you use, including collaboration and invitations. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or harmful material.

5. Free public beta and availability

Kivaro is being prepared for a free public beta. Features may be experimental, change or be temporarily unavailable. We aim to operate the service reliably, but outages, maintenance, data errors and changes can occur. Check critical wedding details independently and keep your own copies of information you cannot afford to lose. We may modify or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and reasonable notice where appropriate.

6. Pricing and future paid features

No subscription fee is charged under these beta terms. If paid features are introduced, we will provide relevant pricing and purchase terms before you choose to buy them. Using the free beta does not authorise future charges.

7. Acceptable use and security

Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, access other users' information without authorisation, scrape private data, send unsolicited messages, distribute malware or use Kivaro unlawfully. We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, subject to applicable law.

8. Account closure and deletion

Where available, signed-in users can request account deletion through Account & Sharing → Delete my account. The process requires confirmation and password verification. Deletion of an owned wedding may be blocked while collaborators or pending invitations remain; these must first be removed or revoked. See Account & Data Deletion for details, including backup limitations. Contact support if you cannot access your account.

9. Third-party services and planning decisions

Kivaro is a planning tool, not a wedding venue, supplier, booking agent or professional adviser. Third-party suppliers and their services are independent of Kivaro unless expressly stated otherwise. Verify prices, bookings, deadlines and other important details directly with the relevant provider.

10. Liability and consumer protections

To the extent permitted by law, Kivaro is not responsible for independent suppliers or decisions made solely from planning information. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent the law permits.

11. Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Service communications may be necessary to operate your account; optional reminders can be managed through the available preferences.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, subject to any mandatory protections under applicable law. We may update the terms and will provide notice of material changes where appropriate. The effective date above reflects this version.
